     I offer psychotherapy to families and children from birth to 18. It is my goal to work collaboratively with caregivers in supporting their children and tailoring therapy to meet each family’s individual needs. I recognize that when a particular family member is struggling, it impacts the entire family system. I hope to assist your family in finding peace and balance. 

My specialties include:

-Experience treating children and families dealing with issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, sensory processing disorders, attachment-related disorders, adjustment disorders, behavior problems, identity issues, and families dealing with separation issues, substance abuse issues and other parenting concerns.

-Child-Parent Psychotherapy, a modality that uses play therapy as a vehicle to process past traumas or disruptions in attachment for children ages 0-5 and their parents. 

-Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a nationally recognized, evidence-based treatment for children with trauma histories. 

-Certification in the APA accredited group therapy program for parents, Adults and Children Together (ACT). 

-Extensive experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders.  

-Education in the Infant, Early Childhood and Family Mental Health program at University of Wisconsin-Madison.




Audrey Thompson LPC  is a Child Therapist that specializes in Children age 0-5 yrs. Old. If your  child has Trauma or you need Parenting Skills, Audrey can help you interact with your toddler, infant or child.  Audrey offers Parent Coaching, infant/parent help, infant parent counseling, infant parent therapy, toddler parent help, toddler parent counseling, child parent therapy, and child therapy.  She is just finishing up a  certification to work as a certified Child Therapist, and is also and Infant Therapist.
