Jason Magill, M.A., LPC

I empower children and adolescents age 6-18 to overcome personal obstacles and improve their relationships. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment to help my clients and their caregivers reach collaborative goals. I believe in meeting you where you are in any process of change instead of placing expectations upon you.

Meeting a NEW THERAPIST Online ?

Concerned ?

              Socially Distanced Solutions . . . In-Person, 1st Meeting Consults Available

                          - Outdoor Picnic Area at our Olin Office

                          - Private Conference Room with seating spaced 10 feet apart

                          - With Jason Magill, LPC - a fellow parent, and father of 3 kids.

It can be a little scary to meet someone for the first time, especially a therapist online. You may have a lot of questions about how it works. Depending on your comfort level, I’m happy to have our initial meeting in person to answer your questions, at our Olin location. We can meet outside at a picnic table or inside in a private conference room, with social distanced seating.  I will wear my mask and keep 6 ft apart. Some clients also feel more comfortable knowing that I’m a father of three (2 girls and a boy). Whether you want to know more about doing therapy online, my therapeutic approach or just chat a while to raise your comfort level, please feel free to contact me about any concerns or questions you may have about therapy.

I'm comfortable helping in many areas but prefer to help in areas where Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational

Interviewing, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, and solution focused counseling work best to meet client need.

I have been a counselor for 13 years and have unique experiences working for an EAP (Employee Assistance Program), as a counselor at an alternative school (grades 1-12) in a large urban school district, and at a community mental health center. I’ve gained experience helping clients with, but not limited to:

• Stress

• Anxiety

• eating disorders

• suicidal/homicidal ideation

• anger management

• ADHD

• Anxiety

• self-esteem

• social skills

• gambling and other addictions

• marriage and family problems

• work performance issues
