Kelsey Johnson, M.A., LPC, CTMH

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Psychology Associates, I provide one-on-one psychotherapy for adults, ages 18 and up.

I am a person-centered clinician who believes every individual can benefit from self-exploration in counseling. There is chaos all around us. And in my experience, inner peace is found in human connection.

Therapeutically, I strive to create a safe space where you can express yourself freely-- without judgment. I will sit with you in your pain, confusion, and all the discomfort that accompanies change. My goal is to validate your experiences and to help you make use of collaborative tools to clarify your true self, strengths, and goals. We will celebrate your growth together.

My educational background is in Psychology (BA) and Counseling & Psychological Services (MA). I am a generalist, offering services to individuals with a wide range of presenting challenges, including but not limited to: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Stress, Grief and Loss, Existential and Spiritual Loss, Identity Issues, Communication Issues, Homelessness, Broken Relationships, Domestic Abuse, Crisis Pregnancies, Adoption-Related Issues, LGBTQIA+ Issues,

and College Student Issues.

I have specific training and experience with two unique populations: college students and individuals within the adoption community (all sides of the adoption triad). I am also a Certified Clinical Tele-mental Health Provider (CTMH).
