Michele Laux, M.A., LPC, RYT

Anxiety and Traumatic Stress are intrusive. As a specialist in these challenges, I support you to integrate your mind, body, and spirit in listening to how your nervous system is reacting, and in using skills to bring in more balance. In collaboration we work together to discover possible origins of distress and to find ways to bring more ease to your life.

Choosing to take on a therapeutic path takes courage, but it can be highly beneficial to have a space dedicated solely to your well-being and growth.

There are many modalities, techniques and skills which can help you to feel more comfortable in all areas of your life, and I love to share them and to continue to learn more. Ultimately my hope is to offer you ways to increase your self-compassion and to gently allow all your feelings. I view my role as a professional psychotherapist as one who helps you soften the need to be perfect and embrace a life that is messy, joyful, challenging, and exhilarating.
